The practice in plain terms
D365Consultant exists for one kind of client: a growing US business whose accounting package, spreadsheets or ageing ERP can no longer keep up. Owners, CFOs, controllers and operations leads come to us when month end drags on, stock numbers cannot be believed, or the system that ran the company for a decade is heading out of support.
We focus on Microsoft's stack because it is where most of these companies already live. Their staff use Outlook, Teams and Excel every day, so Business Central, Dynamics 365 Sales and Power BI slot into habits people already have. Focusing on one family of products also means our consultants go deep instead of wide.
Being a division of Sataware Technologies gives the practice a software engineering bench behind it. When a project needs an extension, an integration or a data pipeline, the people who build it sit in the same company as the consultant who designed it.
Work we take on
- βBusiness Central implementations for finance, inventory, manufacturing and projects
- βMigrations from QuickBooks, Sage, Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV
- βDynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and Field Service rollouts
- βIntegrations with ecommerce, payroll, tax, shipping and banking tools
- βPower BI reporting built on your ERP and CRM data
- βSupport, training and fixes after go-live, including projects another firm started
Where we say no
Licence reselling for its own sake
We will tell you which Microsoft licences fit, but we do not push extra seats or modules you have no plan to use.
Software outside the Microsoft family
If NetSuite, SAP or Odoo is the better fit, we say so and step aside rather than bending Business Central to a job it is wrong for.
Work without a written scope
We do not start configuring on a handshake. Deliverables, assumptions and responsibilities are agreed on paper first.
Heavy customization by default
Standard features come first. Code is written only when a real process gap is worth what it costs to maintain through every update.
What working with us looks like
- 1
A first conversation
A senior consultant, not a sales script, asks how your business runs today and what is going wrong. If we are not the right fit, you hear it on that call.
- 2
Discovery and written scope
Workshops with each department turn into a fit-gap document and a scope that names what is included, what is not, and who does what.
- 3
Build and test with your people
We configure in a sandbox, load your real data, and have your staff run their own transactions before anything goes live.
- 4
Go-live planned around your calendar
Cutover is timed to avoid month end and seasonal peaks, with consultants on hand for the first days of live trading.
- 5
Staying with you afterwards
Support covers questions, fixes and small changes once the system is live, so the knowledge does not walk out the door at go-live.
Common questions about the practice
Who owns D365Consultant?
D365Consultant is a division of Sataware Technologies. Sataware is a software company, and this practice is its Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central arm. Contracts, invoices and support all run through Sataware Technologies. That keeps a single accountable company behind the consultants you work with.
Do you only work with companies in Arizona?
No, we work with companies across the United States. Our office is in Phoenix, but nearly all project work runs over video workshops and screen sharing. We schedule sessions in your time zone. On-site days are arranged when walking a warehouse or training a room in person makes a real difference.
Are you a Microsoft partner?
The reliable way to check any firm's Microsoft status is Microsoft's own partner directory, and we encourage buyers to do that for every firm they shortlist. We would rather you verify than take a claim on a website at face value. Our partners page explains how the program and the directory work. Ask us on a call and we will walk you through what applies to your project.
How much does a project cost?
Cost depends on the scope, so we set it after a scoping conversation rather than quoting from a web page. The number of companies, users, modules, integrations and the amount of history you want to move all change the effort. We put the scope in writing first so the plan is clear before you commit. Our pricing page explains the drivers in more detail.
Can you take over a project another firm started?
Yes, picking up stalled or troubled implementations is a regular part of our work. We start by reviewing what was configured, what data is loaded and what was promised. From there we give you an honest view of what to keep, what to fix and what to redo. You then decide how to proceed with a written plan in hand.
