What the Power Platform is good for
Power Apps builds screens for jobs the ERP was never designed for: a warehouse checklist, a site inspection, a quick expense capture. Power Automate moves data and decisions between systems: an approval in Teams, a document filed in SharePoint, an alert when stock falls below a level. Power Pages publishes a secure portal for customers or suppliers on the same data.
Because all three use the same connectors and security as Dynamics 365, they are usually the quickest and cheapest way to close a gap without custom code in the ERP itself.

Purchase orders, credit limits, expenses and price overrides approved in Teams or Outlook, with the decision written back to the ERP.
Mobile apps
Simple apps for inspections, deliveries, stock counts or time capture, working on the phones your team already has.

Invoices, orders and contracts filed, named and shared automatically, with links stored against the record.
Alerts
Notifications when a customer passes a credit limit, a job runs late or an order is stuck, sent to the person who can act.

Customer or supplier portals on Power Pages for orders, cases or documents, with sign-in and permissions.
Governance
Environments, data policies and a register of every app and flow, so automation stays owned and supportable.

Power Platform questions
Is the Power Platform included with Dynamics 365?
Dynamics 365 licences include rights to use Power Apps and Power Automate within the context of the Dynamics 365 application. Standalone apps and premium connectors can need separate licences, which we check before building.
Can our own staff build apps afterwards?
Yes, and we encourage it. We set up the environments and rules first, then coach the people who will maintain and extend what we build.
